Founder, by.Apostrophe

From designing boats in Brittany, trains and aircraft interiors in NYC, and varied product categories in the US and Asia since, L’Hénaff has learned to appreciate things that work beautifully: honest materials, simple forms, and details with a purpose. His journey through Paris, New York, and Shanghai specifically gave shape to his life long training in design and manufacturing practices. Paris taught him to value craftsmanship and understated luxury; New York encouraged his curiosity and experimentation; Shanghai deepened his understanding of how culture shapes the way people live and the objects they live with daily.

Three decades of working with global luxury brands, and a nod to the fellow designers that challenged and pushed him along the way, he founded by.Apostrophe. Its focus is to bring a niche area that has not been explored properly into the light, formed over years of conversations with architects, developers and interior designers. by.Apostrophe uses its manufacturing capacity and distribution partnership to bring you what you want for your project.
